Pathology laboratory

Claremont Hospital 's on-site laboratory provides a wide range of diagnostic pathology including microbiology, haematology, biochemistry and histopathology.

Established in 1976, the laboratory is staffed by fully trained medical laboratory scientific officers and supervised by a number of Consultant Pathologists. All relevant national and local quality control schemes are adhered to.

Patients using the service find it to be quick and easy, with appointments available without delay and results ready within 24 hours.
