Varicose veins

Varicose veins are swollen, unsightly veins that most commonly appear on the surface of the legs. Symptoms can include aching, itching or discomfort. For other people, varicose veins are a cosmetic problrm.

At Claremont Hospital, varicose veins can be removed by ligation and stripping, or alternatively by laser ablation.

The Claremont Hospital offers a weekly varicose vein clinic.
